Jan Dariusz Cutajar, conservator-restorer

Jan Dariusz Cutajar trained as an objects conservator-restorer at University College London (Britain). He began working as a freelancer in 2016, where he held roles at National Trust amongst others. His portfolio over the past ten years has featured projects at various institutions and with clients in Britain, in the Netherlands, and Norway, working on decorative arts and surfaces. He has also worked further afield on archaeological sites in Egypt, Sudan, and Tanzania. In 2025, he completed his PhD in paintings conservation at the University of Oslo, specialising in modern twentieth-century painted surfaces.
